I have been a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Warwick and Stratford Hospitals since 1994. I am also an Honorary Associate Professor at Warwick University. I have written over 120 research papers on various aspects of the speciality including vaginal surgery, uterine sarcoma, urinary stress incontinence and colposcopic treatment of cervical abnormalities. I lecture at national meetings on various aspects of vaginal surgery and I am a leading expert in this field. I continue to have an interest in academic work, and I am a member of theEditorial Board of the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Current Interests: Vaginal surgery and pelvic floor (prolapse) surgery. Management of the menopause. Treatment of heavy periods including the use of non-invasive methods and the advantages of vaginal hysterectomy.
